Wormwood is an effective tonic for the whole digestive system and is helpful for stimulating appetite. Its actions include: bitter tonic, carminative, anthellmintic, anti-inflammatory and stomachic. Wormwood is a powerful expellant of worms, especially roundworm and threadworm. The brew can also be used externally as a lotion for infestations such as lice. DOSE: 15 grams of cut herb made into a brew with ¾ litre of boiling water. Give 140 ml per day for maximum 3 days. Mix with a little honey as very bitter.
